  1. If you are working remotely and have lost power or wifi to your home as a result of utility disruption and are unable to work, please notify your supervisor. We are also contacting supervisors of employees with known Ted’s Place, Bellvue or Laporte addresses, asking them to provide flexibility to employees who may not be able to work due to the impacts of the fire.
  2. We are glad to see the news that most evacuations have been lifted. However, for your reference, if you are required to evacuate, please also notify your supervisor and focus on taking care of your personal needs. You should follow up with your supervisor within 24 hours to take appropriate leave or determine a plan to make up for lost work.
  3. For additional questions about leave, please contact the Human Resources service desk between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on business days at 970-491-6947.

Please be aware that the university is committed to supporting your needs. We know the personal impacts of a fire near your home are difficult, and we are here to support you. Please let us know if you need us.
