Great health begins with choosing a plan that is right for your needs and financial budget. In order to meet the various care and financial needs of employees, the State of Colorado offers six different plan options through Cigna and Kaiser Permanente.

Protecting your teeth and gums by keeping them clean and healthy is essential to maintaining your overall medical health. Regular dental exams can help to detect problems in the early stages and prevent future problems from arising. To help you preserve a healthy smile, the State of Colorado offers two dental plans through Delta Dental of Colorado (DDCO). Preventative visits are covered at no cost to you, and will not count toward your annual benefit maximum.

Scheduling regular eye exams helps you and your doctor identify vision correction needs and detect early stages of eye diseases. The State of Colorado offers vision coverage to you if enrolled in one of the State’s medical plan options. Your medical plans include basic vision through EyeMed at no additional cost to you. You may choose to upgrade by electing to enroll in the EyeMed Vision Enhanced plan which includes increased benefit coverage at a low monthly cost. The benefits will vary and are specific to the plan you choose.
