Administrative Professional Career Framework

The Administrative Professional career framework project will align job classification with similar positions, link roles to job grade, FLSA status, pay ranges, and internal equity. This process will be critical in preparing for the the Workday implementation.  You can learn more on the Administrative Professional career framework website.

Job Profiles

Workday supports the creation of job profiles for employees, which will include details such as the job profile name, job code, job description, management level, and compensation grade.

Job Descriptions

Position descriptions will not be automatically loaded into Workday from the existing Talent Management System. Colleges and units will receive a questionnaire to provide the data necessary for the job profile. The questionnaire will ask for the job summary, job duties and responsibilities, and requirements.

Job Titles in Workday

Workday will display two types of titles: the job profile and the business title. The job profile aligns with others in the same or similar roles. The business title displays the current working title.

Additional updates and resources will be shared here as they become available.
