It’s a great place to start if you know you want to live in an apartment, but you need to narrow your options down.

Habitat for Humanity provides assistance to low-income families. Habitat homes are built primarily with donated materials and volunteer labor. Families must be able to pay monthly house payments and contribute 250 hours per adult of sweat equity, working on their homes or others’ homes.
