CSU is a non-social security employer. Most state classified employees who are employed with Colorado State University are automatically enrolled in PERA’s defined benefit plan. However, some employees are offered a choice between the PERA Defined Benefit (DB) Plan and the PERA Defined Contribution (DC) Plan. This option to choose is called PERAChoice, and allows employees the chance to choose the Plan that’s the best fit for their retirement goals. You will be notified directly if you have an option to choose between the DB and DC plans.
Also, find more information to help achieve financial, health and overall wellness, in addition your health benefits. We hope you use this opportunity to take advantage of other important benefits to help you transition successfully into your new role as a Ram.
