Employee Housing Programs Housing Partners Discount Program Request

Participants asking to be added to the Housing Partners Discount Program page need to review and agree to the following guidelines and complete the information below. Participant requests will be reviewed, and if accepted, added to the website. Participant reviews may take up to 30 days.

Guidelines for participants:

The Housing Partners Program (HPP) at Colorado State University (CSU) is an employee benefit primarily intended to provide non-compensatory benefits to our university’s employees. To be considered for listing on the Employee Housing Programs page, an offer must meet the following guidelines. For participation consideration please complete the following application.

  1. HPP is a network of real estate professionals that offer discounted services or other resources to CSU employees, including real estate brokers/agents, lenders, home inspectors, landlords/property management, homebuilders, and providers of homebuyer education.
  2. The discount must be available to all employees of Colorado State University regardless of age, gender, race, color, religion, or any other personal attributes (individually referred to herein as “employee”, and collectively, “employees”).
  3. The Participant must have a physical presence in a locality where CSU has a campus, facility or permanent employees and it must have a customer service telephone number and email that is responsive to inquiries.
  4. Participants must be a reputable business as determined within the sole discretion of CSU and, where applicable, must have an active Colorado license and be in good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies Division of Real Estate or appropriate regulating agency.
  5. There is no fee to Participate in the HPP; it is considered “free” visibility for approved Participants. Therefore, CSU expects that Participants will provide quality savings directly to CSU employees.
  6. Participants must commit to offering discounts to employees for a calendar year. Discounts will expire December 31 of every calendar year regardless of when Participant enters the program unless renewed. It is the Participant’s responsibility to re-establish a new discount offer. Throughout the year, new Participants may be invited to participate in HPP.
  7. HPP reserves the right to accept or decline any Participant or offer at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion.
  8. Any Participant, product or service that is deemed to be inconsistent with CSU’s Principles of Community will be declined.
  9. HPP Participants will be listed in the HPP network of providers identifying the discount or service offered and contact information. No additional advertising will be used.
  10. If employment verification is required, Employment Verification may be requested from the CSU Employee Housing Programs.
  11. CSU does not endorse any services or products offered by Participants. Because of this, Participants shall refrain from representing or implying to CSU employees that CSU endorses Participants services and/or products. Any arrangements, services or products utilized by employees through HPP are the sole responsibility of, and are conducted strictly between, the Participants and the employee. CSU assumes no obligation or liability resulting from any transaction.
  12. Participants will provide the following information on the CSU HPP application: company and or Participant name, contact name, address, phone number, specific discount(s) offered, redemption process and effective dates, Participant URL, if applicable.
  13. Either CSU or the Participant may terminate a discount offer. Thirty (30) days prior notice by the Participant will be required prior to termination. CSU may terminate and withdraw any discount at any time for any reason.
  14. Under no condition whatsoever will the Participant have any right to use or authorize the use of any CSU trademark, service mark, trade name or other intellectual property right otherwise owned by CSU or its affiliates.
  15. In performance of this agreement, the Participant agrees to comply with all Colorado state and federal laws and regulations regarding nondiscrimination and harassment on the basis of disability, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation (including transgender status), religion, marital status, familial status, national origin or ancestry or source of income in providing any benefits under the agreement.
  16. Participant agrees to provide biannual updates to Employee Housing Coordinator at  hr_employeehousingprograms@mail.colostate.edu in order to track usage of the program.
  17. The party that checks “I agree” represents and warrants that they are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of the Participant.
If you are a mortgage broker interested in partnering please note: if your company does NOT provide funding for a loan OR mortgage in any way, you are welcome to apply to partner. Please include this information in your application. If your company does provide any direct funding to any borrowers in any way, we likely won’t be able to approve your application.

This agreement shall not become effective unless and until it is properly accepted by CSU.

DISCLAIMER

CSU as the owner of this program, reserves the right to change these requirements from time to time in its sole discretion. These posting requirements, as currently in effect and as they may be from time to time amended, apply to all visits to the HPP website, both now and in the future. CSU reserves the right to not publish a discount or discontinue offering a participant discount at any time for any reason by CSU in its sole discretion.

In the event CSU receives a complaint about a Participant, the Participant discount may be immediately removed from the web site.

The University does not control, monitor or guarantee the accuracy of information from Participants. In no event shall the University be responsible or liable, directly, or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any participant content, goods, or services made available.
