Benchmarking and Strategic Planning 

  • Presentations given to Faculty Council, Administrative Professional Council, and the University Benefits Committee.  
  • Four virtual forums conducted to familiarize faculty and staff with the project.  
  • Committee meetings and fiduciary training. 
January 2020 - May 22, 2020

May 22, 2020 - December 3, 2021

Phase II

Retirement Vendor Search/Request for Qualifications Services 

  • Survey distributed to gauge the things that matter most to CSU faculty and staff when thinking about retirement plan options (October 1 – October 23, 2020).
  • Official RFQ launched through Procurement. 
  • Email updates sent to university community from committee chair. 
  • Recurring committee meetings. 
May 22, 2020 - December 3, 2021

December 3, 2021 - ongoing

Phase III

Campus Education –  Recordkeeper(s) Selection – Investment Selection – Conversion Coordination

  • Employee town halls scheduled to provide project plan updates.

Future activities: 

  • Conclude RFQ by Board of Governors action and notify bidders of results. 
  • Inform university committee of project completion.
  • Participant educational and investment trainings. 
  • Finalize any plan administrative changes.
